Hi! My name is James Askins and I am a passionate and multi-skilled Graphic Designer based in the North East of England. I have studied and refined my skills across various areas of design including traditional and digital print, traditional art, digital painting, video editing and web design. Many of my design pieces incorporate my original style and flare inspired by the likes of pop culture artists such as Alex Ross, Karl Kopinski and Margaret Brundage.
I have a particular interest for marketing and branding, and I am fascinated by the process of capturing an audience through innovative design. Throughout my studies, I was able to explore different ways of communicating through print design, social media and film; and for many years I have enjoyed designing logos, prints, and coming up with creative design concepts.
While designing is my main passion, I also love all things football, film and food-related, and you will usually catch me down the pub on a match day!
